Cookies and browser storage

Cookies can be sent by your browser with requests to a site. Browser storage keeps preferences and identifiers on your device and does not expire automatically. Both are used for site features. Acknowledging our cookie notice only hides the notice; it is not an analytics opt-in or opt-out control. Analytics can run before acknowledgement.

Country and currency preference cookies and the anonymous conversation identifier are stored for up to 365 days; the approximate-country cookie is stored for up to 30 days. Browser storage keeps language and market preferences, recent searches and products, notice acknowledgement and conversation access details. These browser storage items have no automatic expiry and can be cleared in your browser's site data settings. The expiry of conversation access is not a deadline for deleting server records.

Analytics and advertising service providers may use cookies to measure page use, performance, external-link clicks and purchase attribution. The cookies used and their duration depend on provider and site settings. Affiliate networks and stores may use their own cookies after you follow a purchase link; see their notices for details.

Use your browser's site-data settings to inspect/delete cookies and browser storage, and its privacy controls to block cookies or tracking. Blocking can affect preferences and anonymous chat access; it does not recall data already sent to our servers or providers. Deleting a cookie is not a request to delete an AI conversation.
